The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) announces the release of CalEnviroScreen 5.0 (Press Release). CalEnviroScreen is a mapping tool that identifies California communities disproportionately burdened by pollution.
CalEnviroScreen 5.0 uses the latest census geography and most recent data, applies refined methodologies, and incorporates feedback from community-based organizations. It also adds two new indicators: Diabetes Prevalence and Small Air Toxic Sites.
