OEHHA is repealing Sections 25607.30 and 25607.31 related to provisions adopted via emergency regulations for warnings for Bisphenol A exposures from canned and bottled foods and beverages, because these sections were superseded by other regulatory provisions.

Notice of Final Rulemaking - Maximum Allowable Dose Levels (MADLs) (oral exposure) for Atrazine, Propazine, Simazine, 2,4-Diamino-6-Chloro-S-Triazine (DACT), Des-Ethyl Atrazine (DEA), and Des-Isopropyl Atrazine (DIA)

Effective July 1, 2017 OEHHA adopts the No Significant Risk Level (NSRL) of 27 micrograms per day for styrene

This regulatory action for Exposures to Bisphenol A from Canned and Bottled Foods and Beverages maintains the language from the emergency regulation filed in April 2016, with some changes and additions.

Divides Article 6 into two new Subarticles. The repealed and new regulations provide, among other things, methods of transmission and content of warnings.

Final statement of reasons: notice of amendment to section 25805, maximum allowable dose level (MADL) for bisphenol A (dermal exposure from solid materials). The regulation establishing a MADL of 3 micrograms per day from dermal exposure from solid materials will be effective October 1, 2016.

This Final Statement of Reasons establishes No Significant Risk Levels (NSRLs) for Benzidine, bis(2- chloroethyl)ether, N-nitrosodiethylamine, N-nitrosodimethylamine, N-nitrosodiphenylamine, N-Nitroso-N-dibutylamine, N-nitroso-N-ethylurea, N-nitroso-N-methylurea, Toxaphene and 2,4,6-Trichlorophenol.

This final statement of reasons sets forth the reasons for the final language adopted by the Agency for section 12901, and responds to the objections and recommendations submitted regarding the regulation as originally proposed at the July, 1988 hearing, and as modified by the October, 1988 emergency adoption.

The purpose of this regulation is to provide a "safe harbor" level for toluene of 7,000 mlcrograms per day.
