OEHHA Synthetic Turf Scientific Advisory Panel Meeting

The fourth meeting of the Synthetic Turf Scientific Advisory Panel will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm in the Byron Sher Auditorium in the CalEPA Headquarters Building at 1001 I Street in Sacramento.  Details of the meeting, including the agenda and briefing materials, is now available.

The Synthetic Turf Scientific Advisory Panel is a group of expert scientists convened by the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) to provide scientific advice on its Synthetic Turf Study.  The goal of the study is to assess the potential health impacts associated with the use of synthetic turf and playground mats made of crumb rubber.  The panel has held three previous meetings to advise OEHHA on study plans, data interpretation, and reporting of study results.

The meeting is open to the public and will be webcast and transcribed.  There will be a public comment period during the meeting.
