May 11, 2015: Bisphenol-A Listed as Known to the State of California to Cause Reproductive Toxicity

Effective May 11, 2015, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is adding bisphenol A (BPA) (CAS No. 80-05-7) to the list of chemicals known to the state to cause reproductive toxicity for purposes of Proposition 65.

Bisphenol A (BPA) considered for possible listing based on female reproductive toxicity by the DARTIC at the meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2015.

May 6, 2015: Nitrite In Combination With Amines or Amides to be Considered by the Carcinogen Identification Committee

OEHHA asks the CIC to consider whether nitrite in combination with amines or amides, or a subset of chemicals of this class, have been clearly shown through scientifically valid testing according to generally accepted principles to cause cancer.
