As part of an ongoing project to clarify and update these regulatory provisions, OEHHA has established a limited-term position for a regulatory attorney. OEHHA is seeking input from stakeholders in the enforcement and business communities, as well as other members of the public concerning the direction this effort should take.
Request for comments on the proposed listing of gallium arsenide as known to cause cancer and hexafluoroacetone, nitrous oxide and vinyl cyclohexene dioxide as known to cause reproductive toxicity; and notice of a public workshop on the proposed listing of chemicals via the Labor Code provision.
NOTE: Following the March 23, 2005 Safe Use Determination public hearing, OEHHA determined that issuance of an Interpretive Guideline would be the more appropriate course of action.
