Substantive changes relate to the methods for providing warnings for alcoholic beverages purchased over the internet or through mobile apps.

OEHHA has scheduled a public hearing on March 11, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. The hearing will be conducted remotely and the public comment period for this regulatory action is being extended to March 29, 2021, to accommodate the hearing. There are two ways that you can view the Public Hearing on Proposed Amendments to Regulations under Article 6 – Short Form Warnings.

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is releasing a draft document for public review, summarizing the toxicity and derivation of proposed Reference Exposure Levels (RELs) for Chromium (Trivalent) and Inorganic Water-Soluble Trivalent Chromium Compounds (Cr(III)).

Effective December 18, 2020, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is adding the developmental endpoint to the existing reproductive toxicity (female endpoint) listing of bisphenol A (BPA) (CAS RN. 80-05-7) on the Proposition 65 list of chemicals known to the State to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity.  The listing now includes an additional endpoint, developmental toxicity.

Proposition 65 No Significant Risk Level (NSRL) of 23 micrograms per day for the chemical p-chloro-α,α,α-trifluorotoluene (PCBTF).  The regulation will be effective on April 1, 2021.
