The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment is proposing amendments to its conflict of interest code contained in the Title 2, Section 54700 of California Code of Regulations. OEHHA is taking this action is pursuant to the authority vested in it by section 87306 of the Government Code. A comment period has been established commencing on January 12, 2024, and closing on February 26, 2024.

Today, the California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) issued a fish consumption advisory for South Lake, located approximately 17 miles southwest of Bishop in Inyo County.
