In October 2013, to better understand workplace exposures, OEHHA developed a physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) model describing the relationship between airborne lead and blood levels in workers and released to the public. On November 19, 2014, the Office of Administrative Law approved an amendment to Title 27, California Code of Regulations, section 25903, Appendix A. This regulatory amendment provides an update to the existing regulatory summary of Proposition 65 that must be included as an attachment to all notices of violation that are served upon alleged violators of Proposition 65. This amendment also reconciles OEHHA’s regulations with a 2013 amendment to Proposition 65 due to the enactment of AB 227 (Gatto, Chapter 581, Statutes of 2013).
