On November 19, 2014, the Office of Administrative Law approved an amendment to Title 27, California Code of Regulations, section 25903, Appendix A. This regulatory amendment provides an update to the existing regulatory summary of Proposition 65 that must be included as an attachment to all notices of violation that are served upon alleged violators of Proposition 65. This amendment also reconciles OEHHA’s regulations with a 2013 amendment to Proposition 65 due to the enactment of AB 227 (Gatto, Chapter 581, Statutes of 2013).

OEHHA received a petition from Big Lots Stores, Inc. for reconsideration of listing for diaminotoluene (mixed) on October 21, 2014. The CIC will consider the available scientific evidence on the chemical group diaminotoluene and individual isomers and decide whether diaminotoluenes as a group, the mixtures or any individual isomers should be listed under Proposition 65
