Notice of proposed rulemaking: Specific regulatory levels: Reproductive toxicants 2,4-D butyric Acid (2,4-DB, 2,4-dichlorophenoxybutyric acid), m-dinitrobenzene, hydramethylnon and N-methylpyrrolidone.

A Maximum Allowable Dose Level (MADL) for chromium (hexavalent compounds) was established.  The amendment will become effective July 29, 2011.

This rulemaking action clarifies the original intent of the regulation and allows for the most current and appropriate methodology to be applied to quantitative risk assessment.  This amendment also provides default age-specific bodyweights to be used in calculation of the maximum allowable dose level. The amendment is effective on April 16, 2011.
