Product of incomplete combustion of organic matter (e.g., cigarette and marijuana smoke, gasoline engine exhaust, and industrial emissions such as fuel combustion, coke oven operations, and coal-tar distillation). Also produced during high temperature cooking (e.g., grilling, broiling, roasting, baking, frying).
