Effective December 26, 2014, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is adding dibenzanthracenes (as a chemical group), dibenz[a,c]anthracene, and dibenz[a,j]anthracene to the list of chemicals known to the state to cause cancer.

OEHHA received a petition from Big Lots Stores, Inc. for reconsideration of listing for diaminotoluene (mixed) on October 21, 2014. The CIC will consider the available scientific evidence on the chemical group diaminotoluene and individual isomers and decide whether diaminotoluenes as a group, the mixtures or any individual isomers should be listed under Proposition 65

Additional changes to the proposed regulation and Initial Statement of Reasons to add section 25904 to Title 27 of the California Code of Regulations. Proposal to amend Title 27, Cal. Code of Regulations, section 25903, Appendix A,1 to update the Proposition 65 summary that must be included as an attachment to all Notices of Violation that are served upon alleged violators of Proposition 65. This update would reconcile the regulation with the changes to Proposition 65 made in 2013 by the enactment of Assembly Bill 227 (Gatto, Chapter 581, Statutes of 2013).
