Topiramate listed effective November 27, 2015 as known to the state of California to cause reproductive toxicity via the "Formally Required to be Labeled or Identified" listing mechanism

Public hearing on January 13, 2016 on new regulations that would further the “right-to-know” purposes of the statute and provide more specific guidance on the content of safe harbor warnings for a variety of exposure situations, and corresponding methods for providing those warnings.

OEHHA is issuing this SUD only to CFFA for DINP in SP PVC roofing membrane products with a nominal finished thickness of between 1.016 to 2.438 mm, containing no more than 15 percent DINP and heated to surface temperatures up to and including 210ºC during installation.

Carcinogen Identification Committee (CIC) meeting possible delisting of nitrapyrin and diaminotoluene (mixed).

Request for comments as to whether pentachlorophenol and by‑products of its synthesis (complex mixture) meets the criteria set forth in the Proposition 65 regulations for authoritative bodies listings

Intent to list “pentachlorophenol and by-products of its synthesis (complex mixture)” as known to the state to cause cancer under the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.

Preregulatory workshop to discuss possible amendments to existing regulations in Section 25821(a) concerning the calculation of the concentration of listed chemicals in foods.

OEHHA is considering amending Title 27, CCR Section 25821(c), Level of Exposure to Chemicals Causing Reproductive Toxicity to clarify that the reasonably anticipated rate of intake or exposure to a listed chemical must be calculated as the arithmetic mean of daily intake or exposure for product users.

Comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015.

Notice of intent to list topiramate as known to the State to cause reproductive toxicity via the “Formally Required to Be Labeled or Identified” listing mechanism. 

OEHHA is referring nitrapyrin and diaminotoluene (mixed) to the Carcinogen Identification Committee (CIC), the state’s qualified experts for carcinogenicity determinations under Proposition 653, for review for possible delisting at a public meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, 2015.
