Preliminary Agenda for Meeting of the Carcinogen Identification Committee (CIC) for possible listing of perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS) and its salts and transformation and degradation precursors under the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65).

 OEHHA has received a request to hold a public hearing on the proposed amendments, and has scheduled a public hearing on May 10, 2021, that can be viewed on YouTube. There are two ways that you can view the Public Hearing.

OEHHA has scheduled a public hearing on March 11, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. The hearing will be conducted remotely and the public comment period for this regulatory action is being extended to March 29, 2021, to accommodate the hearing. There are two ways that you can view the Public Hearing on Proposed Amendments to Regulations under Article 6 – Short Form Warnings.

This notice announces the beginning of a 45-day public comment period on the chemicals that will be discussed at a public meeting of the Proposition 65 Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee (DARTIC) scheduled for Thursday, December 10, 2020.

The order of items on the agenda is provided for general reference only. The order in which items are taken up by the Committee is subject to change at the discretion of the Committee Chair.

his notice announces the beginning of a 45-day public comment period on seven chemicals. These chemicals will be discussed at a public meeting of the Proposition 65 Carcinogen Identification Committee (CIC) scheduled for Tuesday, November 17, 2020. The meeting will be held virtually. 

OEHHA has scheduled a public hearing on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. In accordance with Governor Newsom’s Executive Orders N-29-20 and N-33-20 as well as recommendations from the California Department of Public Health, the hearing will not have a physical location.

The public comment period will commence on November 29, 2019 and end on January 27, 2020.  All comments received will be provided to the committee for their consideration. The CIC meeting will be rescheduled after the close of the public comment period.
