OEHHA is extending the public comment period on this proposed amendment to 5:00 pm, Monday, November 26, 2018 and has scheduled a public hearing on Monday, November 19, 2018.
N-Nitrosohexamethyleneimine and gentian violet will be considered for possible listing by the CIC at a public meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 1, 2018. The meeting will be held in the Sierra Hearing Room at the CalEPA Headquarters building, 1001 I Street, Sacramento, California. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will last until all business is conducted or until 5:00 p.m. The agenda for the meeting will be provided in a future public notice published in advance of the meeting.
Nickel and nickel compounds will be considered for possible listing by the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee. The California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment has selected N-methyl-N-formylhydrazine for the Carcinogen Identification Committee review for possible listing under the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act. This notice announces a data call-in to solicit information from the public relevant to the assessment of its carcinogenicity. N-Methyl-N-formylhydrazine was selected from chemicals prioritized by the CIC.
