I was Dumbfounded when I tried to purchase a backup an emergency generator and could not because portable generators can not be shipped into California, apparently because of Proposition 65. My wife is on 24-hour oxygen, and she cannot be without electricity. As typical with environmental advocates and the unintended consequences that occur because of legislation that happens when propitiations like 65 are put into law. It is obvious that an exception to the rules that prevent emergency generators from being shipped into California, should be considered.
