Derivation of the public health concentrations (PHC) in water for metolachlor and its environmental degradates metolachlor ethanesulfonic acid (MESA) and metolachlor oxanilic acid (MOXA). The PHCs derived are 1300 parts per billion (ppb) for MESA, 3200 ppb for MOXA, and 7 ppb for metolachlor.

OEHHA has received a request for a Safe Use Determination (SUD) for the use of diisononyl phthalate (DINP) in Interface GlasBac® and GlasBac®RE modular carpet tile, specifically that exposures to DINP in the carpet tile do not present significant cancer risks under Proposition 65, and therefore do not require a warning. The request is made by Interface, Inc. pursuant to Title 27 of the California Code of Regulations, section 25204(b)(3).
