Effective December 18, 2020, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is adding the developmental endpoint to the existing reproductive toxicity (female endpoint) listing of bisphenol A (BPA) (CAS RN. 80-05-7) on the Proposition 65 list of chemicals known to the State to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity.  The listing now includes an additional endpoint, developmental toxicity.

Proposition 65 No Significant Risk Level (NSRL) of 23 micrograms per day for the chemical p-chloro-α,α,α-trifluorotoluene (PCBTF).  The regulation will be effective on April 1, 2021.

The California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) intends to list the following chemicals as known to the state to cause cancer under the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65.

OEHHA is cancelling the public hearing scheduled to occur on October 13, 2020. Members of the public may continue to submit written comments until the close of the extended public comment period, October 21, 2020.
