Recent Research on Climate Change: A bibliography with an emphasis on California

Go to downloads

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment compiles information relating to climate change and its impacts on California by continually monitoring the scientific literature, publications of research organizations, governmental entities and academia, and other information sources. This bibliography is a compilation of selected publications presenting observations and new or emerging scientific information on climate change.  Publications that relate to California were targeted, and references that cover other geographic areas presenting findings applicable or relevant to California were included.  Specifically excluded are references that primarily present future scenarios or modelled projections, or that mainly discuss mitigation or adaptation measures. This report supports OEHHA’s efforts to compile indicators of climate change in California, and is made available as a resource for environmental and public health agencies, the research community, non-government organizations, and the public.

This bibliography covers research published from 2011 to 2016, a period that overlaps with literature summarized in bibliographies prepared by OEHHA in 2013 and 2015 (available for download below).
