I live in the 95556 are of Northern California on the Humboldt County Siskiyou county line. It is one of the MOST impoverished areas of the state I have ever seen. This area should be RED! There are 3 native American reservations within 5 miles of each other with no infrastructure, no employment and no resources. This includes the largest tribe and second largest tribe in the state. The Yurok, Karuk and Hoopa nations. This report completely overlooks this entire region of northern Humboldt county, all 3 tribes and southern Siskiyou county. We have the Highest rate of unemployment and lowest rate of income in the state. 90% of the residents are on state assistance of some kind. Please FIX this as we are unable to qualify for resource programs if nor identified properly.
