Comment Period- Draft Proposed Child-Specific Reference Dose (chRD) for School Site Risk Assessment: Chlorpyrifos

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) of the California Environmental Protection Agency is making available the draft report, “Development of Health Criteria for School Site Risk Assessment Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 901(g): Proposed Child-Specific Reference Dose (chRD) for School Site Risk Assessment, Chlorpyrifos,” on November 30, 2007. This report is available to the public via the OEHHA Web site (www.oehha.ca.gov).

Public review and comment periods for this document will follow the requirements set forth in Health and Safety Code Section 57003 for receiving public input. A workshop on the document will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM on December 20, 2007, in the Coastal Hearing Room on the second floor of the Joe Serna (Cal/EPA headquarters) Building, 1001 I Street, Sacramento. The comment period was to end on January 18, 2008, but has now been extended to February 11, 2008.  Comments received by that date will be considered in the revision of the document.
