For the sake of the health of our future generations, especially young children, we must make more of an effort to be selective about what ingredients we allow in our food. That means prohibiting food dyes that can potentially be a neurotoxin or a carcinogen. One alternative for the colors pink and red that can be used as a natural food dye is beet juice or beat extract because it’s potent and it goes a long way. Yet it is natural and so it is most likely safe because it comes from beets. I also encourage you to consider a precipitation on other synthetic ingredients like aspartame, sucralose, carrageenan and saccharin because they are known to be toxic to humans.
