California Public Records Act Requests
The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is committed to the principles of open government and the right of access to public records, as provided in the California Constitution and the California Public Records Act (see Government Code Section 6250 et seq.). To this end, certain categories of records are regularly available on OEHHA’s website, including final reports, fact sheets, press releases, educational materials, meeting transcripts, rulemaking notices and other rulemaking documents. Records not regularly available on our website can be requested through a Public Records Act (PRA) request.
How to Make a PRA Request
You may request copies of public records, or make an appointment to review them at OEHHA's offices, by using the request form below, sending an email to OEHHA.PRAs@oehha.ca.gov, or by contacting OEHHA’s PRA Coordinator:

Request Form
You will need to provide at least one form of contact information for us to respond to your request. If you provide your email address, you may want to add our public records email address, OEHHA.PRAs@oehha.ca.gov, to your "safe senders" list, so our reply will not be placed in your spam folder. To assist our staff with a prompt and accurate record search, please provide as much detail and specificity as possible in the “Description of Records Being Requested” box.
Please be aware that since OEHHA is subject to the California Public Records Act and other laws that require the release of certain information upon request, your name, email or other information you provide could be disclosed to third parties upon request.
