Announcement of a Public Workshop on a Possible Regulation Concerning the Listing of Chemicals under the Proposition 65 Labor Code mechanism
Announcement of two public pre-regulatory workshops on June 17, 2013: possible regulation concerning the listing of chemicals under the Proposition 651 Labor Code mechanism ; and possible amendments to the regulations governing qualifications for members of the Carcinogen Identification Committee (CIC) and the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee (DART-IC).
OEHHA is withdrawing the notice to adopt a specific regulatory level having no observable effect under Section 25805 for bisphenol A.
Chemical listed effective April 11, 2013 as known to the state of California to cause reproductive toxicity: Bisphenol A (BPA).
Effective April 19, 2013, OEHHA is removing bisphenol A (BPA) (CAS No. 80-05-7) from the list of chemicals known to the State to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity
Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking proposing Maximum Allowable Dose Levels (MADLs) for the chemical methanol.
Notice of intent to list Clomiphene Citrate as known to cause to cause cancer by the "Formally Required to be Labeled or Identified" mechanism
Comment Period - Notice of intent to list Clomiphene Citrate as known to cause to cause cancer by the "Formally Required to be Labeled or Identified" mechanism
Request for information relevant to the assessment of the carcinogenicity of: N‑methyl‑N‑nitroso‑1‑alkylamines, N-methyl-N-nitroso-1-octanamine, -decanamine, ‑dodecanamine, and ‑tetradecanamine.
Proposal to adopt Proposition 65 Maximum Allowable Dose Levels (MADLs) for hydrogen cyanide (HCN) and cyanide salts (CN salts). The proposed oral MADL for HCN and CN salts, expressed in terms of cyanide, is 9.8 micrograms per day. For hydrogen cyanide and cyanide salts that dissociate to the cyanide ion, the MADLs are calculated by multiplying the molecular weight of the compound by 0.38.
Notice of intent to list: Hydrogen cyanide and cyanide salts as known to cause male reproductive toxicity.
Revision to the proposed MADL for sulfur dioxide from 220ug/day to 10,000 ug/day
Comment Period - Request for information relevant to the assessment of the carcinogenicity of: N‑methyl‑N‑nitroso‑1‑alkylamines, N-methyl-N-nitroso-1-octanamine, -decanamine, ‑dodecanamine, and ‑tetradecanamine
Comment Period - Revision of Proposed Specific Regulatory Level and Augmentation of Record for Proposed Regulation: Title 27, California Code of Regulations, Section 25805, Specific Regulatory Levels: Chemicals Causing Reproductive Toxicity Sulfur Dioxide
Comment Period on the Notice of intent to list: Hydrogen cyanide and cyanide salts as known to cause male reproductive toxicity
Meeting announcement and synopsis of the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee for Monday, March 18, 2013.
Request for information as to whether methyl isobutyl ketone meets the criteria for listing as a reproductive toxicant under the authoritative bodies listing mechanism.
Comment Period - Request for information as to whether "emissions from combustion of coal" meet the criteria for listing as known to the State to cause cancer under the authoritative bodies listing mechanism
