his notice announces the beginning of a 45-day public comment period on seven chemicals. These chemicals will be discussed at a public meeting of the Proposition 65 Carcinogen Identification Committee (CIC) scheduled for Tuesday, November 17, 2020. The meeting will be held virtually. 

OEHHA has scheduled a public hearing on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. In accordance with Governor Newsom’s Executive Orders N-29-20 and N-33-20 as well as recommendations from the California Department of Public Health, the hearing will not have a physical location.

The public comment period will commence on November 29, 2019 and end on January 27, 2020.  All comments received will be provided to the committee for their consideration. The CIC meeting will be rescheduled after the close of the public comment period.

OEHHA has scheduled a public hearing on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at the George Alexeeff Environmental Health Library, Suite 1604, 16th Floor, 1515 Clay Street, Oakland, CA 94612 and the comment period is extended to 5:00 pm, Friday, January 11, 2019.

N-Nitrosohexamethyleneimine and gentian violet will be considered for possible listing by the CIC at a public meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 1, 2018.  The meeting will be held in the Sierra Hearing Room at the CalEPA Headquarters building, 1001 I Street, Sacramento, California.  The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will last until all business is conducted or until 5:00 p.m.  The agenda for the meeting will be provided in a future public notice published in advance of the meeting.

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) announces the availability of the Notice, preliminary agenda and materials for the 2022 meeting of the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee.

Chlorpyrifos and n-hexane will be considered for possible listing by the DARTIC at its next meeting. Chlorpyrifos will be considered for possible listing based on the developmental toxicity endpoint.  n-Hexane will be considered for possible listing based on the developmental, male and female reproductive toxicity endpoints.

Coumarin will be considered for possible listing by the CIC at a public meeting. The meeting will be held in the Sierra Hearing Room at the CalEPA Headquarters building, 1001 I Street, Sacramento, California. This notice also marks the beginning of a 45-day public comment period on this document.
