Proposition 65 Regulatory Update Project, 2011-2012 Project List
The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is the lead agency for implementation of Proposition 65. OEHHA maintains the regulations implementing Proposition 65. These regulations are in Title 27 of the California Code of Regulations, sections 25102 to 27001 inclusive.
In November 2007, OEHHA held a public workshop to gather suggestions and requests for updates to the Proposition 65 regulations.
Since that time OEHHA has completed several regulatory actions and others are in varying stages of development. Given that it has been several years since the last workshop, OEHHA is announcing a public workshop, similar to that held in 2007, for the purpose of gathering additional input from interested parties concerning regulatory changes, additions or deletions that should be added to the project list.
While all ideas will be considered, stakeholders are encouraged to make their suggestions as specific as possible and also to limit the suggestions to those that will implement or make specific the provisions of Proposition 65 while furthering the purposes of the Act. Suggestions for changes to the law itself are beyond the scope of this project.
The workshop will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011, from 10 a.m. to Noon, in the Sierra Hearing room at the Cal/EPA Headquarters Building located at 1001 I Street, Sacramento, California. If you have special accommodation or language needs, please contact Monet Vela at (916) 323-2517 or mvela@oehha.ca.gov by May 19, 2011.
Interested parties may also submit their ideas in writing. All submissions should be directed to:
