These changes are in response to comments received regarding the proposed regulations. OEHHA has received oral and written comments on eight chemicals: arsenic; benzene, cadmium, di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP); lead; lead acetate; lead phosphate and lead subacetate. OEHHA intends to promulgate regulatory levels for fifteen (15) chemicals at this time. The adoption of the regulatory levels for the remaining eight chemicals will be done at a later date.
If you have any comments regarding the proposed changes to the text of regulations, OEHHA will accept written comments between February 11, 2002 and February 27, 2002.
