Notice of Adoption to Text of Regulations: Title 27, California Code of Regulations - Amendment to Section 25805, Maximum Allowable Dose Level (MADL) for Di-n-hexyl phthalate (DnHP)
On May 16, 2008, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking announcing the proposed adoption of the Maximum Allowable Dose Level (MADL) for the chemical Di-n-hexyl phthalate (DnHP) and amendment to Title 27, California Code of Regulations, section 25805 (27 CCR section 25805 (formerly 22 CCR, section 12805). A 45‑day public comment period was provided commencing from the publication of the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on May 16, 2008 until June 30, 2008. The Notice also stated that a public hearing would be held on request. No request for a public hearing was received by OEHHA. No written comments were received by OEHHA. The Office of Administrative Law (OAL) approved the adoption of the MADL for Di-n-hexyl phthalate (DnHP) and the amendment to Title 27, California Code of Regulations, section 25805 on December 2, 2008. The regulation was filed with the Secretary of State on December 2, 2008 and will become effective January 1, 2009.
