Notice of Adoption to Text of Regulations Title 22, California Code of Regulations Amendment to Section 12805 Maximum Allowable Dose Levels (MADLs) for Ethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether (EGEE), Ethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether Acetate (EGEEA), and Potassium Dimethyldithiocarbamate

On March 30, 2007, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking announcing the proposed adoption of the Maximum Allowable Dose Levels (MADLs) for the chemicals Ethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether (EGEE), Ethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether Acetate (EGEEA) and Potassium Dimethyldithiocarbamate and amend Title 22, California Code of Regulations, Section 12805 (22 CCR Section 12805).  A public comment period was provided during the 45 days, commencing from the publication of the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on March 30, 2007 until May 14, 2007.  The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking also stated that a public hearing would be held only on request.  No request for a public hearing was received by OEHHA.  No written comments were received by OEHHA.  OAL approved the adoption of the MADLs for Ethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether (EGEE), Ethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether Acetate (EGEEA) and Potassium Dimethyldithiocarbamate and the amendment to Title 22, California Code of Regulations, Section 12805 on August 31, 2007.  The regulation was filed with the Secretary of State on August 31, 2007 and became effective September 30, 2007.  OEHHA announces the availability of the regulatory text and the supporting rulemaking documents.
