Amendment to Section 25705(b) No Significant Risk Level (NSRL) for Tris(1,3-Dichloro-2-Propyl) Phosphate (TDCPP)
On June 1, 2012, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking proposing a No Significant Risk Level (NSRL) for the chemical tris (1,3-dichloro-2-propyl) phosphate (TDCPP) and amending Title 27, California Code of Regulations, section 25705(b). A public comment period was provided from June 1 to July 16, 2012. The Notice also stated that a public hearing would be held on request. No request for a public hearing was received by OEHHA. No public comments were received by OEHHA.
The Office of Administrative Law (OAL) approved the adoption of the NSRL for tris (1,3-dichloro-2-propyl) phosphate and the amendment to Title 27, California Code of Regulations, section 25705(b) on September 20, 2012. The regulation was filed with the Secretary of State on September 20, 2012 and will become effective October 20, 2012.
