The warning label should indicate that glyphosate has been determined to be a probable carcinogen by the World Health Organization and is not biodegradable. Hence, precautionary protective measures should be used when handling glyphosate to avoid skin contact or respiratory exposure. Similar precautions should be used if it is applied to vegetation or other surfaces. Users should be cautioned that glyphosate may contaminate minor children and pets who have surface contact exposure to glyphosate. Hence, extreme caution should be exercised to avoid secondary spread. The warning should also indicate that food products that have been exposed to glyphosate should be avoided by by consumers who have immune deficiencies. Food products that have been exposed to glyphosate must be thoroughly washed before handling or consumption. The warning should also indicate that glyphosate is highly toxic to fish and amphibious creatures and should not be used near watercourses or other bodies of water.
