Updating any Prop 65 warning label requirements without any additional preventative measures to stop litigation from "bounty hunter" attorneys only hurts small businesses. By updating more warning label requirements, it opens up new rounds of lawsuits from these attorneys who are designed to profit from litigating against small businesses. The filing of any litigation with Prop 65 should require proof that the lawsuit is warranted AND businesses should be given relevant proof of purchase and/or lab results immediately after being served.
