I would like to see a 30 day right to cure period for Prop 65 infractions. The prohibitive cost of defending yourself in court coupled with the lack of a right to cure period is just putting money in the hands of greedy law firms, not actually keeping people safe. Station owners don't intentionally not comply. Stickers are vandalized or removed by vagrants or hooligans, or in the worst cases, predatory law firms themselves. A right to cure period would keep the same people safe from these chemicals, but would keep the wrong people from getting paid for extortion.
