Notice of Amendment, BPA Warnings, Title 27, Repeal of Sections 25607.30 and 25607.31
On May 11 2017, the Office of Administrative Law approved an amendment to Title 27, California Code of Regulations. This rulemaking repeals Sections 25607.30 and 25607.31 related to provisions adopted via emergency regulations for warnings for Bisphenol A exposures from canned and bottled foods and beverages, because these sections were superseded by other regulatory provisions. This rulemaking does not affect Section 25603.3, subsections (f) and (g), which also covers warnings for BPA exposures from canned and bottled foods and beverages, which remains in effect until December 30, 2017.
The repeal of sections 25607.30 and 25607.31 is effective on July 1, 2017.
