OEHHA Synthetic Turf Scientific Advisory Panel Meeting Notice

The second Synthetic Turf Scientific Advisory Panel Meeting is scheduled to be held on Friday, March 10, 2017.  The meeting will be held in the Sierra Hearing Room at the CalEPA Headquarters building, 1001 I Street, Sacramento, CA.  It will begin at 10 a.m. and will last until all business is conducted or until 5 p.m.

The Synthetic Turf Scientific Advisory Panel is a group of expert scientists that the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has convened to provide scientific advice on its Synthetic Turf Study.  The Panel advises OEHHA on study plans, data interpretation, and reporting of study results.  The goal of the study is to assess the potential health impact associated with the use of synthetic turf and playground mats made of crumb rubber.  

The meeting is open to the public and will be webcast at https://video.calepa.ca.gov.  There will be a public comment period during the meeting.
