Children’s Environmental Health Symposium

Please join OEHHA, Western States PEHSU at UCSF, and UC Berkeley CIRCLE for our next children’s environmental health symposium exploring "New Findings from California”.

This symposium will explore the latest science and set the stage for dissemination of public health messaging and action to:

  • Inform state agency scientists working in environmental and public health of the latest scientific findings on children’s health and the environment, and
  • Facilitate specific actions by the State of California to improve and protect the health of the state's children
  • Inform regulatory scientists and engineers, legislative staff, and the public about future long-term impacts on children related to the environment, and
  • Review new findings on neurodevelopment and autism, diabetes and obesity, childhood leukemia and the environment, interactions between pesticide exposure and the social environment, endocrine disruptors and cosmetics, and more.
