The third Synthetic Turf Scientific Advisory Panel Meeting is scheduled to be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. It will be held in the Sierra Hearing Room in the CalEPA Headquarters Building, 1001 I Street, Sacramento, CA.

The Synthetic Turf Scientific Advisory Panel is a group of expert scientists convened by the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) to provide scientific advice on its Synthetic Turf Study. The goal of the study is to assess the potential health impacts associated with the use of synthetic turf and playground mats made of crumb rubber. The panel has held two previous meetings to advise OEHHA on study plans, data interpretation, and reporting of study results.

The meeting is open to the public and will be webcast and transcribed. There will be a public comment period during the meeting.
