OEHHA released its final report on the potential public health impacts of ethanol as an oxygenate in gasoline. It includes an analysis of the health risks of ethanol in gasoline, the products of incomplete combustion of ethanol in gasoline, and any resulting secondary transformation products.
OEHHA announces the availability of a second draft of 12 draft technical support documents for Public Health Goals (PHGs) for chemicals in drinking water. The Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee meeting was held on December 13, 1999. The DART Identification Committee determined that quizalofop-ethyl was clearly shown to cause male reproductive toxicity.
