An updated List of Art and Craft Materials that Cannot be Purchased for Use in Kindergarten through 6th Grade. This list is intended to assist schools in complying with state law which prohibits schools from purchasing art or craft materials containing a toxic substance for use by students in these grades.

OEHHA will convene a meeting of the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee (DARTIC). At this meeting the DARTIC will consider the possible listing of bisphenol S (BPS) based on developmental toxicity. OEHHA is also opening a 45-day public comment period on the hazard identification document entitled “Evidence on the Developmental Toxicity of Bisphenol S."

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is announcing the availability of a draft document for public review summarizing the noncancer reference exposure levels (RELs) for 1,4-Dichlorobenzene, as part of the Air Toxics Hot Spots program. OEHHA is also anouncing a comment period that will open November 29, 2024 and will close January 13, 2025.
