Availability of final data summaries and priorities for chemicals with respect to their evaluation by the OEHHA Science Advisory Board’s Carcinogen Identification Committee.  

OEHHA announced that the public health goal (PHG) for perchlorate in drinking water was identified as 6 ppb (parts per billion).

OEHHA has provided a number of comments on the risk characterization methodology and conclusions on the draft RCD for the Active Ingredient Tetrahydro-5,5-dimethyl-2 (1H)-pyrimidinone {3[4-(trifluoromethyl) phenyl]-1-[2-(4-trifluoromethyl) phenyl] ethenyl]-2-propenylidene} hydrazone (hydramethylnon). These comments and our recommendations, as well as suggested clarifications, additions and corrections, are contained in the attachment.

The Public Health Goal for perchlorate was finalized and the technical support document was made available.

This 2004 draft report is required by the California Land Environmental Restoration and Reuse Act (Escutia, Chapter 764, Statues of 2001) as part of the effort to develop soil screening numbers for a specific set of contaminants.

OEHHA has submitted findings on the active ingredient Methidathion. These findings were prepared in response to the risk characterization document (RCD) prepared by the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR).
