OEHHA offers educational courses to health care providers on the recognition, treatment, and reporting of pesticide-related illness. Courses are available on-line or on-site. Each course is approximately one hour, and continuing education credits may be provided.

Exposure to other listed substances, if any, which may be present in these materials will not be reviewed by OEHHA in the context of this request.

N-Nitrosohexamethyleneimine and gentian violet will be considered for possible listing by the CIC at a public meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 1, 2018. The meeting will be held in the Sierra Hearing Room at the CalEPA Headquarters building, 1001 I Street, Sacramento, California. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will last until all business is conducted or until 5:00 p.m. The agenda for the meeting will be provided in a future public notice published in advance of the meeting.

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is adopting a new cancer inhalation unit risk factor (IUR) for tert-butyl acetate (TBAc). IURs are used to estimate lifetime cancer risks associated with inhalation exposure to a carcinogen.

The Clear Lake advisory updated in May 2014 is only for Clear Lake. The updated guidelines for Cache Creek are also available.
This advisory was further updated in August 2018 to remove advice for Clear Lake Hitch, which is currently listed as threatened under the California Endangered Species Act. Clear Lake Hitch are not permitted to be harvested.

The California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) intends to modify the listing of alcoholic beverages as shown in the table below as known to the state to cause cancer under the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65). This action is being taken pursuant to the “Labor Code” listing mechanism.
