Safe Harbor Warning Regulation for Exposures to Glyphosate from Consumer Products
On September 1, 2022, the Office of Administrative Law approved the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment’s proposal to amend Title 27, California Code of Regulations by adopting Sections 25607.48 and 25607.49. These new sections provide safe harbor guidance for businesses that cause exposures to glyphosate from consumer products that require a warning under Proposition 65.
The regulations will be effective on January 1, 2023.
