There is little to no evidence that acetaminophen is carginogenic. 1000mg IV paracetomal was given to me after surgery instead of a class 4 narcotic, and it worked wonderfully. As a bariatric patient, I am only allowed to take oral Tylenol for pain relief, your ruling would take pain relief away from many many people that have no other options.
