CalEnviroScreen 1.0 Drafts

OEHHA released two drafts of CalEnviroScreen 1.0 before finalizing the tool in April 23, 2013. For both drafts, OEHHA conducted extensive public workshops and received written public comments on both drafts, which led to the release of the final version.

Second draft:

The second draft of CalEnviroScreen 1.0 was released on January 8, 2013. The CIPA workgroup met on January 11th, 2013 to provide input on the report. The agenda for that meeting is here.

First draft:

Cal EPA and OEHHA held a public workshop for the CIPA workgroup on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 on the first draft. The agenda for that meeting can be found here.

After the CIPA workshop, OEHHA held several regional workshops to solicit input on CalEnviroScreen 1.0 Draft. The workshop locations were as follows:

On September 7, 2012, OEHHA convened a group of academic experts to provide additional comment of the proposed CalEnviroScreen tool.

On September 21st, 2012, OEHHA announced four additional workshops as an opportunity to provide comment. The agenda for these workshops is here.

  • Tuesday, October 2, 2:00–4:00 p.m.

        Workshop to discuss how the screening tool may be useful to local government.

        University of California, Riverside – Palm Desert Graduate Center

  • Tuesday, October 9: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
    Webinar to discuss how the screening tool may be useful to California’s Native American communities.
