Announcement of a Meeting of the Cumulative Impacts and Precautionary Approaches Work Group: June 4, 2012 in Sacramento

A public meeting of the California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA) Cumulative Impacts and Precautionary Approaches (CIPA) Work Group will be held on June 4, 2012.  The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment will convene this meeting on behalf of Cal/EPA.  The main purpose of this meeting is for the CIPA Work Group to provide advice on the proposed cumulative impacts screening methodology.  Time will also be available for the public to comment at the meeting. 

The CIPA Work Group meeting will include presentations on the proposed screening method and preliminary results.  The work group will provide advice on the method, and discuss a possible web-based tool for using the screen and ways Cal/EPA may use the screening information.  The CIPA meeting agenda will be available online at at least ten days prior to the meeting.  

The CIPA Work Group meeting will be held in the Coastal Hearing Room (2nd Floor) of the Cal/EPA Headquarters Building located at 1001 I Street in Sacramento, California.  For directions to the Cal/EPA Headquarters Building, visit: All visitors are required to sign in and receive a badge prior to attending any meeting. Valid picture identification may be required due to the security level, so please allow up to 15 minutes for this process.
